I was banned from a group...?

I was banned from a group and I have no idea why? The only thing I can think of that I might have done is invite some of the members to my own group. I only did this once and most of the people I invited joined including the moderator who banned me? Is this not the way to find members? I have been away from yahoo groups for some time and fear I've violated some new taboo.
