How to sue a inc or llc?

i took my car to maaco earlier this year and maac in nc did a terrible job to my car they also overchaged me i filed a civil suit aginst the owner of the maaco in my city but the judge threw it out said i couldnt sue him i had to sue the company but i dont no how and no lawyer will take the case
