National Young Leaders Conference?

Hi! So i was invited to the national young leaders conference for my gpa and my PSAT scores. I will be a junior in the up comming year. So im leaving tomorrow and the conference is taiking place in the DC area. I will be staying in a hotel room for about 10 days by myself nooo parentss wooo hooo! So like any teenager i want to take this opportunity to the fullest. I am already from the DC area and i looked on the sceduel and its nothing but sight seeing and tons and hours and hours of conferences. Im getting 2 college credits for it. so thats a plus but If i have been invisted to such a pertigious program then why does it not look like were having any fun? I hav already seen all the monuments and blah blah because i lived thier for um teen years and i hate civics, and history and legislature blah blah which is what thier lecutring about according the the schedule. Has anyone ever been to this? Did you even have fun? What were your experiences, opinions and i need advicve! I wanna have fun! I know i can make the best out of any situation..but if thier rewarding me for bieng so smart aparently why dosent it seem fun? Dnt i deserve a break?
