As a christian, I try to avoid things of an astrological nature, but......?

I do believe that people leave there bodies and "astro pro-ject" Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on why this happens, its purpose and the like? (As a side note, I believe because my X used to leave her body at night and see sliver cords attached to beings above the earth, I never believed her till I ran across a verse in the bible which stated......less your silver cord be loosed. Ecc 12:6)
